"Power of the Sun" poster contest winner announced

In celebration of Solar Appreciation Day, we are pleased to announce the winner of our first ”Power of the Sun” poster contest for her imaginative yet straightforward piece. Congratulations to Alexa Rust of Schuylerville Elementary School!
Her poster was submitted by her teacher, Mrs. Stacey Parker, and her entire class will be celebrating this afternoon with a pizza party — right after recess.
Numerous entries were received and judged by Eden's management team according to creativity, originality, artistic quality and overall messaging. There were many great posters, making it hard to choose just one. Below are a few honorable mentions.
We thank all of the students who participated in this year’s poster contest for their original, thoughtful and creative ideas. We hope this opportunity provided a greater appreciation for the sun and its importance to all living things.
